Upcoming Club Events
Message from our Secretary
Fellow Members,
Well we're into the season now and doing well. So, it's time to see how you lot have progressed as well.
I am planning 3 events and need to know who's a commited UAECSC supporter. Remember, these are organised with you in mind as a way of getting to know other club members and of course, to have abit of fun. Mainly at Richards expense of course.
OK, the forthcoming events are:
1. Tuesday 1st November. UAECSC Team at the Fibbers Quiz night. This is before the CFC v Real Betis Champions League game and on the eve of the Eid break. So, I'm expecting a good turn out. A number of us attended the quiz nights, as a UAECSC team, before, and they all turned out to be a good laugh.
2. Wednesday 9th November. UAECSC Bowling Night No.2. Another great night out and the little kiddy winks are more than welcome to come along have have a bowl. Although, they are actually better than the adults! Once again, it will be at Thunderbowl and probably around 8.00pm.
3. Thursday 17th November. UAECSC Volleyball Night No.1. A new event for the UAECSC members. The kids are also very welcome to come along. Hopefully, there will be enouh of them so I can arrange a junior competition as well as one for the adults. This will be held up at the Green Community where they have two outdoor volleyball courts.
As always, events can only be run if we have enough numbers. So please let me know ifyou can attend any, or all, of the events as soon as possible.
Two future events for December, which need some feedback if we are going to organise them are,
1. Go-Karting Night No.2 at the Autodrome. Were hoping to have a BBQ after the racing in the car park afterwards this time.
2. An Xmas party! Nothing to formal, just drinks, nibbles and dancing. Probably upstairs in Fibbers. But numbers will have to be high to run this event.
Come on everyone, don't be shy, put your name down and join in.

Another message from our Secretary
A number of times in the past it has been muted about us putting a football team together. Either 5 a-side, or a full team. But, all this achieved was members coming out with some fantastic excuses why they couldn't join in. 'The old knee', 'the wife won't let me', 'i can't risk getting injured because of my job' and 'I can't be bothered'. So, the last one is just my opinion.
Well, I'm trying again. You don't have to be a budding Joe Cole to play, or even be that fit. If numbers are good then we have rolling sub's. Sorry Richard that's not directed at you.
So, who's up for it.
If you are interested, pls contact Tom Bishop
